Form I-134 is used by sponsors to demonstrate they have sufficient financial resources to support a foreign national visiting or immigrating to the United States. This form is a critical component of certain immigration applications, including K-1 fiancé(e) visa petitions (I-129F).
Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or U.S. national
Must have income at or above 100% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines for your household size plus the immigrant
Must maintain your principal residence in the United States
Must be at least 18 years of age to legally sign the affidavit
Should be able to demonstrate stable income and/or sufficient assets to support the immigrant
